Family gathered....with lots to say!

.....the plates are all washed and put away!

And after having planned, prepared and cooked such a delicious feast, I'm sure you're hoping for a break from kitchen duty? I know I would be!

What a fine collage of a most enticing "spread"! This year I was twice and guest and ne'er a hostess. The only downside to it is that I have no leftovers! (Dressing and cold turkey sandwiches are two of my all-time favorite foods ever.)

Sounds as though you had a wonderful day. Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here but we do have so much to be thankful for. How wonderful it is to have a special day for this, to share with family and friends, around a table full of wonderful food.

What a delightful horn of plenty you presented us with! I can see that love and care went into every dish!

That plate reminds me of the food pyramid. Loved seeing my favorite Brussel sprouts.
Enjoy the left overs of warm family glow and lots of turkey sandwiches.

Oh my gosh, now that looks delish! ( I had cafeteria food at work, but at least it was turkey!) There is nothing like home made leftovers from thanksgiving!
Hope you had a wonderful time w/ family!

What a beautiful plate of food! And the empty plate is also very lovely. That collage just amazed me, the variety of foods... sitting here in the morning, reading, drinking tea, and now getting very hungry... :-)

Yummy looking meal! We just had our third "reheating" I guess one could call it of leftovers...just enough for Mark to take a turkey sandwich to the hospital for work tomorrow. Our children were not here this year and Mark worked the holidy. I spent the day with his 98 year old grandmother, I know it meant so much to her to have someone visit. It turned out to be one of the nicest days ever!

Wanda - what a spread! But, I imagine you fed a crowd of family. Luckily, we didn't bring any leftovers home from Jim and Michelle's. I did bring the turkey carcass and made a flavorful turkey rice veggie soup, some of it to freeze and some to enjoy right now. We're in Denver and the weather is wonderful - we'll stay the week. PS Love your platters.

Thank you, Wanda, for giving us part of your Thanksgiving feast even through photos. It is so visually appealing that makes my mouth water. You must have a wonderful time with the warmth of family together. I like that plate which goes well with the table mat.

For the first time (in forever!) Mama, Daddy, Jack and I didn't have Thanksgiving dinner at our home (or Mama's.) We traveled together to the mountains...and we ate "out." (I never thought I would ever do that on Thanksgiving...but I have to admit that it was one of the most restful and happy Thanksgivings that I can remember.)
Your photos of Thanksgiving bring back wonderful memories, Wanda.
I love being here. You know that I do.
I hug and love you, my friend.
