Thank You Everyone!

~Tiger Swallowtail~

This poem expresses, in me a need,
to tell my visitors of a feeling of glee.
Moments of Mine...has come you see,
to the 100th post.....created by me.

Daughter, Annette...first planted the seed,
of starting a blog, that others might read.
Writing about...butterflies, birds, and bees
or just of the faces...I may see in the trees.

This blog has brought so much to me,
warm friendly people, whose blogs I read.
Some give advice... we all should heed
and others post...their meaningful deeds.

My "Village" place is very special to me,
so many friends...it's hard to conceive.
All leave their comments...for me to read;
I've even made friends.....across the sea!

You Bloggers are special...this I believe.
Always returning...just like my weeds!
I want to say thanks and with it please,
all my good wishes for you to receive.

Wanda, this was so beautiful! Your sentiments, your pictures, I have tears in my eyes.
I don't know where to begin.

Well, first ~ Congratulations on your 100th post!
And this is really the most unique blog, you have this amazing picture album that not only tells a story but allows us to enter your story and become immersed in it. It's not just your wonderful pictures, it's your wonderful life, and your wonderful self.

Your poem was great, and also I'm sure many of us share those sentiments, you put into words what I feel in my heart.

The pictures were a beautiful way to celebrate, and I enjoyed them so much. I can't believe all the fantastic pictures you capture! I loved every one of them, but I especially love the Striped Swallowtail, I've never seen anything like that in my life. A Zebra Butterfly!

And how nice to post a picture of yourself! It's feels good to put a face with the words we read, not that it matters, we already know the important part of you, your heart and soul. But it still feels nice to imagine you walking through your property with us alongside. And now you have a face!

Congratulations, Wanda!
You don't know how happy I am that I happened upon your blog! I was amazed from the moment I got here, and I've been equally amazed on every returning visit!
It's been great getting to know you!
Here's to the next 100!
All best wishes,
Love,
Eileen

Good morning Wanda!
Wow, 100 ~ That is certainly a lot of photos and writing ~ poems and sentiments.
Have you ever thought of printing some of your favorite posts and scrapbooking them? I bought some fresh ink to do this... wondering how I'll print out the pages so they don't look like webpages.
I would say ALL of your posts I've read and enjoyed are just beautiful and would scrapbook every one!
I started blogging because my daughter, Rachael, and I were going to blog together about a book we were reading. She helped me with a blog title (based on our book theme) and never really got into it...but I did!
The sense of community you have found here is very special ... and so cherished.
Thank you, Wanda, for sharing the beautiful things you see and capture ~ your lovely writing ~ and that you let us follow your footsteps into the beautiful world of nature and family life.

Humbly Grateful for your shared 'Moments.' ~Maria

After reading your sweet poem I was thinking...hmmm...maybe Wanda is real people just like us and then the photos started and I KNEW once again that you ARE Snow White come to life!!

I so DEARLY love butterflies and so this was like a present to me. thank you for these gorgeous creatures you capturd on film. Does it take you a long time to get all those varieties or do you just whistle your Snow White whistle and they come in droves???

That tree DOES look like an ostrich with big eyes and lashes...that was my thought before I read what you wrote.

Your whole blog truly blesses the eyes with goodness and joy!

Congratulations on your 100th post...may you give us a bazillion more.

blessings and hugs,

marcy

p.s. I, too, loved getting a lovely picture of you, but cartoon Snow White might be jealous!

It's 10:30AM for me and your comments, besides making me emotional, just reinstate how lucky I am to have such warm people to go visit...I enjoy all of your blogs as well...Forgive me if I don't always respond to every comment in every post...I wish I could, but life does get busy with other things that pop up or pop in(like some of the 9 grandchildren)!

I have saved my posts to a hard drive Diana...Blogger has an export button to help with that...Delwyn taught me to email the posts to myself Maria...that way they can be pasted and printed if I want...
Thank you again for visiting and enriching my life!

Happy 100th post. The happiness is ours. You share such beauty and wonder, and we are all the happier for it. I'm so glad you names the hummingbird moth. I have one of those, and I had no idea what it was. When I first saw it, I thought it was a hummingbird...but on closer examination, I knew it wasn't. Now, I know what it is!!
Congratulations on your milestone.
Love and smiles,
Jackie

Dear Wanda…congratulations on your 100th post! I'm so glad to have found your blog, and look forward to reading and seeing each new adventure.

I hope you count this milestone as only the beginning. Personally, I'm one of those "weeds" in your poem who knows good ground when he finds it…and like any weed with gumption, I'll keep returning again and again.

100? Did you say you're 100? Oh - I just reread - thank goodness this is your 100th post. You look so young, I knew you couldn't be close to 100...
I don't know quite how I clicked upon your blog back in the dark months of winter, Wanda, but you are an inspiration and a blessing.

I love all the butterfly pictures and the flowers, of course. My favorite has to be the Swallowtail with the purple fringed "shawl" of the flower on its wing.

Here's wishing you 100+ more!

Hi Wanda ~
I was checking out a rhubarb cake recipe on a blog this moring, and your name "Wanda" stood, out since we share that name. Curiosity sent me to your blog... and to my surprise, your name is not the only thing we have in common. We both have 9 grandchidren (I also have 2 great grandsons), we have been married almost the same amount of years, us 48. We both love Jesus, and as I looked over your favorite movies and music, I began to laugh...as it is similar to my list.
You blog is beautiful, as you are and I am so glad I decided to come by and check you out.
I hope you will stop my and visit me too.
I'm wanda at Brushstrokes!

Thank you for that poem, and the picture of you, you're so pretty Wanda, but that doesn't surprise me as I knew someone who could see so much and with such generosity would be unlikely to look like a moose! Knowing you though you'd be able to find us a beautiful moose too! As usual some of your images are ones that will stay with me, this time the greenfinch, a bird we see rarely here these days apparently, and the ostrich tree, that's a good one. x
