While walking the creek...
I found this heart...
I made it glisten with water.
Look closely at the tip...
underwater...
another small heart!
The next day...
company came...
sometimes I goof...
I call her...Alivia Shayne,
but that's NOT
her middle name.
It's Alivia Ruth!
You see Shayne...
and big sister Amanda...
well...
it's her...middle name.
I had promised Alivia...
a walk in the woods.
It was the treasure tree
she wanted to see.
It was as empty...as could be...
Maybe "next time"
there will be something to see!
Alivia saw the creek in the distance...
I convinced her...that we should
search the woods before we go...
that maybe...
we could find things of interest.
You never know!
Luckily...
She found this rock
It's not a flower...
but...it is new spring moss!
.
Farther along...
we found an ancient skeleton..
maybe a cross between
an anaconda and a dinosaur!
Maybe!
We also discovered an odd tree!
A very hollow Beech Tree!
Alivia didn't crawl through...
but she could have!
Maybe another time!
As you see this tree was
was very close to the creek
She did explore the backside...
which looked like this!
Then it was down to the creek!
Immediately...
the hands went into the water...
...and the mud!
Eventually the feet went there too!
We do NOT stay clean or dry...
when near the creek!
We don't even try!
The path home is just around the bend...
...and up over this hill is home.
This is the large tree that fell
last fall!
Closer to home...
she runs off and leaves me...
over behind the garden area.

Remember that colorful
Sunrise
that started my morning...
...the day before?
The one
with pink, purple and yellow hues...
The one that made me
think
blackberries and peaches...

...mixed together in a pan...
...and baked till brown and crisp!
vegetarian chili for lunch.
