Quickly Changing Sky

This evening our somewhat dull gray sky became

a quickly changing sky-

that darkened to a threatening purplish hue.

The wind and rain it brought wasn't much-

and the field quickly brightened.

The rolling clouds parted - letting not only the blue sky show through-

but a rainbow-





of yellow , pink, and blue!




Then fluffy white clouds were drifting for a while-

only to gather again to threaten-

before the evening sun-




slowly went down for the night!
