Deceiving Sunrise

There are some mornings when the sunrise reflects off our dinning room
table and gives us a sense of warmth and a tropical feeling to the room.
But that sunrise, that creates that warm glow can be a very
deceiving sunrise.

Because-

we still have 24 degree mornings and snow on the ground,

with birds picking at stray seeds below the feeders -

with squirrels taking turns at the heated water fountain -

with Northern Flicker woodpeckers.

It's called winter! Our field even looks cold and lonely.

Same field, but

warmer times and visitors!
