This morning's sunrise was at 7:02 a.m. I had just returned home
from putting grandsons on the school bus at their house.
from putting grandsons on the school bus at their house.
.
It was a warm breezy morning.....
so I went to the field with my camera.
The clouds were moving at a very swift pace.....
creating different patterns as they floated on by.
See if you can locate small black spot in the white area.....

This is what it is!
.
are why we have a lot of spring cleanup to do every year.....
.....leaves and branches.....
.
trim several ornamental grasses yesterday.
Here's the remnants in a wheel barrow to prove it.

After leaving the field.....
I stopped to check one of the older Bluebird houses....
.

.....still no sign of Bluebirds.....
Disappointed again.........
but.....
while going back inside.....
I noticed.....
the breeze was creating music with my chimes.....
.
so I took a photo of them against the sky.....
.

Almost simultaneous, as I pointed camera to sky.....
....other sounds were blending in.....
not that of quietly chattering Bluebirds.....
but.....
that of loud honking geese.....
.
"against the sky"
.
A "sign" that soon I will be able to capture.....
.
this.....against the sky.....

and later in the season.....
..... this against the sky!

We're getting closer Wanda! I can't wait to open every window in the house! We need a little spring :-) Today was nice - ran errands to be outside. Tomorrow will mop floors, but today was outside day - seems like you thought the same thing! Have a great week-end!
you are amazing with all your pictures! i love looking at them all- and it's just as amazing that you can find the older pictures that you want, too!
Hi Wanda,
Good Girl for doing all that spring clean-up! I liked seeing that tiny bird in the clouds and then finding out it was actually a big vulture. My very favorite, though were the geese framed by the branches. Great photos! Have a nice weekend. Snow due here (sigh...).
Your blog always brings me such peace, and I am so glad that the geese are on their way home. Last fall, I watched them leave, and everything that was in me wanted to fly south too.
What a beautiful walk you had! How wonderful to see a vulture and a butterfly up close. I think butterflies are so fascinating and to think they come from a caterpilliar. Once again, I just love your music!
You are amazing with all your pictures, I wish I had the time and talent to capture beauty like that.
I am not sure if I come to your blog to view your beautiful pictures or listen to the most peaceful music. I love your choice of music, the first song is what I call a spa song, I have a CD of them and I find them so relaxing. I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend, and again thank youu for sharing.
take care/I care Bernie

Oh, Today was a gorgeous day! We have been outside all day long...cleaning up the yard, I planted some bulbs of Gladiolious, and moved som easter flowers(hope it didn't hurt them) I got so excited about my egg, because we have had these chickens since last fall and no eggs, my husband thought they might be too old to lay...but ha they showed him! Beautiful pics by the way!
I really love the last three photos, especially the one of the geese. They're all beautiful!
