Days are slowly getting longer, here this second day of March
the morning's sunrise was at 7:08 a.m. Getting closer to "Spring"...
but...
.
March can surprise you, as last year when I saw this
.
through my front window .....
I'm hoping by the end of March, this will be the view from that window!
There is no school today, due to teacher's in service day,
.
so grandsons Andrew and Dylan will be spending it with us.
.
They can walk through the woods to get to our home.
.
I often go down to the creek with them.....
.
and these are some large old trees uprooted
.
during a storm a few years back....
.
.

on which they always climb
.

and explore, by reaching into places.....I never would.....
.

The logs come in handy to cross over the creek.....
.

or just to sit on....."together".....
.

together at the creek last fall.....
.

"together"
.

as they always seem to be.....
as you can see!
As I hope they'll always be!

What handsome boys you have there! I hope they are always the great friends they appear to be, my 3 are and that makes me feel like I am raising them right. Thanks for your comments, Conley, my oldest does have the FLU, he got prescriptions for Tamiflu and Ibuprofen, so hopefully he will get well fast.
"Together" that is what is important! Your grandson's are so handsome and it must be wonderful that they are so close to Gramma...I thank you for your comment on my blog Wanda...I really think I am going to plan a trip to go see my grandchildren, and my sons, and their precious wives. Aparently, I can not see the forest for the trees...thanks for helping me see more clearly.
The picure of the green hillside covered in ferns and trillium has made my day! Surely spring will someday arrive - even in Breckenridge. Andrew and Dylan are handsome boys. They look about the same age as my Ben and Jack. Also, I have an Amanda, which I believe you do,too. She is Ben's twin sister - they are 6. Jack is 4.
Once again I am in awe of your photo's. Love them, and you are so blessed to have two healthy, happy grandsons live so close by. How wonderful for all of you, I love how the love for your family shows through your pictures and words. Priceless.... Good night my friend,xo
Thank you Bernie, actually all 9 of them live very close, I know it's usually not the case, so I'm very thankful.
Barb...spring or not...your scenery in Breckenridge is breath taking. I have a niece in Florissant, Co.
You are welcome Teresa, family is everything! Like Barb...you have twin g-children!
Amber, hope you stay well...and that Conley feels better soon.
