Alivia is the youngest of my nine Grandchildren.
June 6th is Alivia's 7th Birthday!
She lives next door...just through the trees...
which she climbs often!

was fun for her.

while feeding the birds
I found her
breaking open sunflower seeds...
with deep concentration
Dress up was a favorite pastime for her...
as an Indian Princess...

There are times...
we just stay in the drive

standing in the field.
One of my favorite times...
is when I capture that 'far-a-way' look!

was just here the other day...
some real cleaning she did too...
and it was a wonderful job!
Afterwards...
I let her use my camera...on her own!

Alivia has such a striking face! And her birthday is the same day as my close friend's is, only she's turning the big 5-0 tomorrow! I love it when you share Alivia's visits, and that she lives next door! I hope she has a special, lovely 7th birthday...with such a loving family I'm sure she will. :o) Oh as someone who has spent the past four years photographing wildflowers, I can see that Alivia has a very good eye for framing up flowers; she did a fabulous job!

Alivia is such a lovely girl. Her eyes are so, so beautiful. In the first photo, they almost look violet.
I think the photos she took would make sweet greeting cards or thank you notes. The daisy photo inspires a smile... that would cheer anyone's day!
