Living among a lot of trees, as we do, provides different activities...not only the watching of songbirds, hawks, or squirrels... but also the doing of lots of maintenance.
Our oldest son Rick...Alivia's dad...often walks back to visit...
.

and many times...ends up offering a helping hand...
.

Note their same body stance...
how they move in unison
.

how they hold their arms in space...
.

and how they twist and turn their face.

The removal of branches
that have grown too close to the electric lines is
thankfully...
...the responsibility of the electric company.

Hi Wanda, I have been waiting patiently for your blog and my walk into "your part of the woods", and again I feel blessed. It is so amazing how "acorns don't fall far from the tree" meaning how children resemble their parents. When I look at my oldest son, I see his father too, the resemblence is amazing. You really captured that in your photos. : )
Once again, I enjoyed taking a walk through your pictures. I am so glad that I found your blog! You always seem to capture such beauty and warm!
Man, When I grow up I wanna be a tree in your yard! Never stop posting' about your yard! LOOOOOVE it!
Oh your son appears so much like his father. How wonderful! I love your yard, your home and all the pictures you share with us. Your space in this world seems so peaceful and welcoming. I am so happy for you my friend, Take care/I care, Bernie
