Everything was wet after a horrific early morning
thunderstorm at 5 AM yesterday...but at sunrise.....
.
the morning sun brightened the day with it's rays...
.
.
casting shadows that I couldn't resist....
.
sending light rays through the trees.....

spraying sunshine all around.....
.

luring me out closer.....

and down the drive....

where I was greeted by this young Song Sparrow
.
who could just barely fly.
Being already out...I walked over behind the barn...
.
the deer will stand on their hind legs to reach them.

I found the mulberries dripping with rain....
I found the mulberries dripping with rain....
.
them slowly ripening too....
.
I may have overlooked a 4 leaf clover by it's side...

i really enjoy every moment you convey through those pictures.it tells me everything......good job.(urie Indonesia)
Don't know what your fly/bee is…yet…but I'll try and check some other reference sources later. It's much, much bigger than the little hover fly in my shot, though.
I do know that the second photo from the top of today's posting is just stunning! Absolutely amazing!
It not only looks like Paradise but it sounds like Paradise too! 'Loved that you added the video!
And that strange little thing flitting around did look like it had a cartoon face! So cute!
'Really like the song too, 'Morning Has Broken' always reminds me of my wedding day as it was playing while my bridesmaids and I were dressing. Plus it's always been a favorite of mine and I especially liked whenever it was sung in church in the early mornings.
Once again, thanks for sharing. I always enjoy visiting here. 'Makes me feel peaceful.
Good Morning Wanda,
I could feel your morning walk, and I could smell the wonderful flower scents in the air...and the freshness of a new morning, it makes me want to get up at dawn and enjoy God's beautiful creation, before all the hub bub of the day begins...this was truly breathtaking.
Oh God! The views are just exotic. The sun rays filtering through the trees makes for SUCH a brilliant view! Thank you SO very much for sharing this with all of us. It was a visual delight :D
Wanda, amazing as always. Everything blends so well together, the pictures, words and song. I so love it my friend, you are truly blessed with your gift of photography, and your kindness in sharing gives us all a chance to experience the beauty you see through your eyes. I so love coming here....have a wonderful day my friend....:-) Hugs
These are lovely photographs especially the early morning ones and I love the one of the turkey strutting by. I wonder whether Scribe will come up with the name of your insect friend.
Hello Again Wanda,
Had to comment on these beautiful early-morning pictures where the rays of Heaven seem to be spotlighting your land. I called my husband to see Tom Turkey - we saw a large male and several female on our trip to CA. Your serenading birds were a perfect symphony for the start of this wondrous day.
All I am wondering is why you won't take pictures of Snow White or Cinderella...they HAVE to be in there somewhere!!
What a gift you give to us with your exquisite photography, your Disneyland acreage and your wonderful patience in downloading and uploading all this wonder!!
blessings and hugs,
marcy
Just love that you capture little birds and wildlife too!!
Breath taking!! I love the rays of sunshine. You live in Paradise. Must be.
I agree with Eileen, it looks like Paradise there! What a peaceful place. I swear I can hear just how quiet it is there.
Cat Stevens was on our tvs last night in a 40 minute show from the 1970s. He's still such a wonderful and beautiful person & musician, so I love that you chose his version. Someone has already mentioned thanks for the effort you put in uploading and presenting such peaceful beauty so we can reflect on the wonder of the universe. Very special Wanda, what you give out to the world. x
I wish I had your eyes. You are a lovely reminder to stop and smell and see the roses. Your posts help me to remember to stay one with the world. Always a gift in my day.
Hello Wanda
This is beautiful, your photos make me feel as if I am there in your rural heaven. Do you have a large acreage?
What time is your sunrise?
I notice your clock says 9. We must be 12 hours apart, I am 9pm Friday.
I can see that I am going to have to go back over all of your previous posts to get a feel for your home environment. Thanks for today's sample.
Happy Days
How absolutely BREATHTAKING! This suddenly makes me appreciate the dreary rain we've been having as it gives way to such refresing beauty. Somehow, this post makes me wanna jump and dance about with my arms in the air.
Beautiful series of shots! Thank you for the smiles - once again!
Your photographs are breathtaking! Absolutely!
I love the trees....the sun....the feelings the photos evoke. I saw the photo of the barn, and I have been thinking (long before I got a camera) that I wanted to start taking photos of barns...from all over (as if I travel a lot...NOT!)....but when I do, my camera will be ready. I just think that barns are beautiful.
Thank you for sharing such lovely photos...they are spectacular. I can't wait until I can capture images like you do....and I shall have much fun trying.
Smiles,
Jackie
