Saturday morning's sky was bright blue with countless white clouds.
.....with no sign of Canadian Geese this time.......
but I did capture this jet leaving it's vapor trail through the trees...
Also through the trees, I spied this odd place where a squirrel
had taken advantage of a storm damaged tree and made a home...
...right at the top!
.
Squirrels must like to be on top of things.....
...as here...on top of my small "inuksuk".....
...and here.....relaxing on top of a hanging pot on the back porch. .
.

.
I guess squirrels also were enjoying the day.....
with all the beautifully shaped clouds and nice weather!

It was warm enough to have our spaghetti lunch.....
.

...on the front porch!
But then...Sunday morning...was a different story...with it's dark stormy clouds.
These days do change quickly!
But at least...it wasn't a snow storm I was looking at....
.... like this time last year.....through my front door.

Still...snow or not...what a difference a day makes...
.....even my walk in the woods.....
.....seemed less "springy".....
.

with the overcast and autumn's leaves still clinging to young Beech trees!
This old dark decaying tree seemed to fit right in with the day's
threatening weather of a tornado watch!
.

Then on my walk back toward home.....
waiting for spring too.....

There is a big difference a day can make! I just love your pictures, you have a beautiful talent!
You have done it again my friend, the beautiful pictures, a spring day off 75 WOW! compared to our -22 and that doesn't include the wind-chill! We had more snow today as well. Your spaghetti made my mouth water, God has given you many gifts my friend and my heart is full seeing how well you use and appreciate them. I do enjoy the talents of others. Take care/I care :)
Hi Wanda, I sense that you love the sunshine too...but remember "even though it is cloudy, the sun is still shining" Sorry to hear you are getting a cold front from Canada, I wonder where ours is coming from? Anyway it is really, really cold here again, and 45, let alone 75 degrees seems like heaven to me. Keep on blogging, it makes me hopeful.
Lovely photos!!!
There is a winter storm warning for tonight so tomorrow will be white on top of white for me. Your woods look so inviting, even on a cloudy day. I loved the sky photos and also the gnarled tree that reminded me of a hand. I can hardly wait until your daffodils bloom!
Love all your pictures! They should be in magazines! Your spaghetti lunch looks wonderful...send me your recipe! I don't remember ever longing for spring the way I am this year!
Thanks for your visit.
It looks like you had a wonderful day. Your pictures once again are soo beautiful! The squirrel is so cute sitting in the feeder. Is that what he is sitting in? Your spaghetti lunch does look good. Makes me hungry for some spaghetti.
